Islander is a twin engined 14 metre catamaran, boasting over 800bhp. We look for efficiency from day to day however if we are needing to go somewhere fast.. that can be arranged! Islander can accommodate 45 seats inside our heated cabin which still allows you to enjoy the tour even on those wet and windy days. Our onboard toilet is situated at the “aft” end of the vessel allowing easy access to all. We have cushioned seats available outdoors, with additional standing space if you wish to do so. We always highly recommend sitting on the “top deck” if you have a keen eye for wildlife spotting. Our boat is well equipped with speakers to ensure the commentary can be heard from wherever you decide to get comfortable.
We have a 2 person crew onboard. Your skipper/captain will ensure safety and comfort from the wheelhouse of the boat whilst searching for any wildlife along the way. Our skipper comes with vast experience and knowledge of the area and rarely misses an opportunity of seeing something good! Our tour guides are excellent at what they do, providing factual information about the sights you’ll see along the way and uncovering some old tales from the past. As a team, the objective is always to find the best thing out there on the tour and ensure our passengers enjoy the experience.
